Dorms of 2015 Graduates

As September joins us for another year, our college-bound members of the class of 2015 settle into their new homes: dorms. From Seattle to Nashville, and even to Montreal, MVHS ‘15 alumni share with us a peek of their new homes and a taste of their new lives. Take a look:

“I wanted to attend a diverse school, and McGill provides just that: the student population is nearly 25% international students, with the rest coming from all over Canada. I also wanted to live in a city, and Montréal is an amazing place to live because it's incredibly bilingual (most people are completely fluent in both English and French) and it's very cosmopolitan and culturally diverse- it often feels more like a European city than a North American one!”

A senior this year, Shayda is nostalgic, stubborn, and a feminist. She loves acting, J.D. Salinger, 80s rom-coms, slam poetry, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Oh, and she cries too much.
