Senior captain Liberty Evans joined the ranks of MVHS wrestlers who have made it to the CIF State Tournament in Bakersville on Feb. 26, which marked the first time MVHS sent two wrestlers to the tournament. Her teammate, junior captain Kiana Lien placed 3rd at the tournament, which made her the first ever CIF state placer, and three-time CIF state qualifier.
