Photo story: Spartans dominate at Last Chance Invitational

Last Saturday, April 13,  the Track and Field team hosted the Last Chance Invitational at MVHS. The Spartans placed first overall with a combined score of 183 points, with second place going to Los Gatos with 143.5.

A notable event was freshman Deven Koppala claiming his second freshman school record when he broke the record for the mile, placing first in the frosh-soph boys 1600 with a time of 4:34.43. In doing so, he also broke the previous meet record for the frosh-soph boys mile of 4:37.97, set by then sophomore Rory Olsen last year.
