Sammy Shaffer, a senior, has played volleyball at MVHS for four years. Now that the season is coming to an end, to honor her being the only senior on the team, the team has decided to rename senior night “Sammy Night.” Many came out to support Shaffer and the team, who lost by 2-3 to LAHS. Both sides fought hard and till the end, but Los Altos won by a narrow margin of two points each game. MVHS won the first two sets 25-21 and 25-22, and LAHS won the last three all 25-23.
