On Monday, December 7th, the City of Mountain hosted the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. This free holiday event, which usually takes place in the first Monday of December, drew over hundreds of people to City Hall, Civic Center Plaza and Pioneer Park.

Some activities at the event includes photos with Santa, inflatable slides, and a play area full of real snow. There were also performances by local choirs including Mountain View High’s Madrigals, Graham Middle’s Concert Choir, and Huff Elementary’s choir.

Attendees could also take pictures with holiday mascots out in the park and make holiday arts and crafts in City Hall’s lobby. Food trucks also sold meals to the crowd.
