At lunch on Friday, December 7, Mountain View High School students and faculty gathered in the gymnasium to watch the MVHS Dance Spectrum performance.  Students with all levels of dance experience participated in the several dance numbers choreographed by their peers in Dance Spectrum.

“I am so proud of the Dance Spectrum… and [I] am so thankful for the the audience that came out here to support us,” senior Danielle Ignacio said. “Our strong sense of unity and school spirit really enhances our MVHS community by the providing of encouragement to our fellow classmates.”

From a dance featuring ninjas to a graceful piece entitled “Blackbird,” the Dance Spectrum had a wide variety of dances to showcase styles such as hip-hop, breakdancing, ballet, and more.

“I loved seeing everyone with such outstanding energy and I especially loved the Ninjas in Paris,” audience member, sophomore Ryan Sherod stated.

“I’m very happy with the outcome. It was definitely an overall amazing performance,” sophomore Devon Johnson said.
