Update Nov. 18, 5:57 p.m.: The water main has been fully repaired, MVLA Communications Manager Cynthia Greaves said in a statement to the Oracle.

School officials identified a water leak at MVHS early this morning and have turned off all running water to address the problem, according to MVLA Communications Manager Cynthia Greaves. The school had already been closed for the day due to diminishing air quality, so students and staff were not affected. The cause of the leak remains unknown but the damage seemed to be located along the northern side of the gym. Greaves said the school hopes to have the leak fixed by Monday, Nov. 19.
