Creative Expressions: Art classes for El Camino patients

Creative+Expressions%3A+Art+classes+for+El+Camino+patients

Tehila Eisenstat, an artist and teacher, started Creative Expressions art classes at El Camino Hospital 15 years ago. Her classes are free for cancer, heart, and vascular patients at the hospital. Students get the opportunity to paint on canvases with bright and positive colors in a unique form of art therapy.

An art exhibit featuring patients’ paintings will be displayed downstairs in the main El Camino Hospital facility on Thursday, Feb. 12.

The following video is a story of Eisenstat’s passion for art and the impact she has had upon her students.
