On Aug. 31, Spartan Pause returned to the main quad, offering opportunities for socializing and fun. With free food and drinks in hand, Spartans could race each other in an inflatable obstacle course, paint sand art, and learn new meditation techniques.
Junior Bryce Kibble said his favorite station was the bubble station.
“It’s kind of tricky, but it’s fun when everyone’s trying to watch you make a huge bubble,” Kibble said.
With Spartan Pause moving from the Science Quad to the Main Quad, Kibble and others said that it provided more space.
“It’s very welcoming, and there’s so many activities to do,” junior Daniella Picollo said. “Spartan pause is obviously [a] great opportunity to get to be around a lot of different groups of people and being able to relax.”
