On Friday, May 10, MVHS’s ELD students traveled to Filoli Historical Gardens in San Jose. Students toured the estate and collected fresh fruits and vegetables to prepare and taste. The visit was one of three field trips part of the Teen Partnership Program hosted by Filoli Gardens, which provides “joyful activities, community building, and nature exploration” with the goal of connecting underserved students to nature.
