The MVHS track and field team won in all four divisions against Homestead High School last Thursday in their first dual meet of the season. Varsity girls won 92-25, varsity boys 92-26, junior varsity girls 83-35, and junior varsity boys 71-56. Notable victories for the Spartans include sweeping the varsity girls 400, varsity boys 100, junior varsity boys 800, varsity boys 200, varsity boys and junior varsity boys 3200, varsity boys long jump, and varsity girls shot put.
