Friends and family cheered endlessly for the new graduating class of 2015 throughout the Graduation Ceremony on Friday, June 5, 2015. After Mountain View High School’s principal, Dave Grissom, delivered a speech regarding the academic scholars and academic excellence thriving at MVHS, graduating seniors, Leo Hsia and Erin Kobashigawa, along with Laura Stefanski and Fiona Walter, presented diplomas to the graduating students. During the ceremony, two speeches were given by graduating seniors, one called “Conservation of (We) Matter”, spoken by Alexandra Malo, and the other, “How to Say Goodbye” spoken by Carly Miller. In between the two student speeches, graduating seniors, Marissa Freitas and Lindsay Hofen, along with Mike Mathiesen and Susan Sweeley, continued the presentation of diplomas to seniors. The ceremony concluded as the graduating class tossed up their caps in celebration.
