The MVHS football team lost the third game of the season 32-49 to Live Oak on Friday, Sept. 13.
The Spartan offense started the game well, taking a 20-14 lead in the first quarter. The Acorns struck back in the second quarter, taking a 28-26 lead into halftime.
After halftime, the MVHS offense struggled to gain momentum. Live Oak scored three touchdowns and limited the Spartans to just six points to take the win.
MVHS now sits 1-2 on the season after two straight losses. The Spartans look to bounce back next Friday away at Menlo.
