The MVHS football team suffered a 0-41 shut-out loss to Woodside in the first home game of the season on Friday, Sept. 6.
The Wildcats controlled possession of the ball for most of the game, taking a 20-point lead over the Spartans entering halftime. In the second half, MVHS fumbled twice, allowing Woodside to score three more touchdowns and put the game to bed.
MVHS exits this game with a 1-1 record. The team looks to bounce back against Live Oak next Thursday.
