The MVHS girls soccer team claimed a 1-0 win over Santa Clara on Friday, Jan. 24.
The game was evenly matched through most of the first half before senior forward Alex Markova scored off of a cross from freshman Charlotte Higgins. The second half was scoreless, giving the Spartans their third league win of the season.
