The MVHS boys basketball team claimed a 69-47 victory over Lynbrook in the preseason CCS Sportsmanship Game.
Despite trailing 15-22 after the first quarter due to a strong start by the Vikings, the Spartans turned the game around in the second quarter. They held Lynbrook to just six points while scoring 24, taking a 39-19 lead at halftime. Senior guard Jayden Minor contributed eight points, and senior forward Jaden Feller added seven during the quarter.
MVHS maintained their momentum in the second half, allowing only 19 points to secure the 69-47 win.
