For the first time in MVHS history, the girls flag football team played their first contest against Los Altos on Sept 9. The matchup was not a game, but a scrimmage where each team would run ten plays on offense before switching to defense.
Junior Roxie Silver said that the team mainly needs to work on being rushed and running their plays faster.
“I think that the team has a lot of potential for future games,” Silver said. “It should be a good season.”
