Although the 2013 season of the Quiz Kids competition got off to a late start this year, the MVHS Quiz Kids team won their first round match against Menlo-Atherton High School this past Sunday by a score of 645-350. This match will air Feb. 9, 2013 on KRON TV Channel 4 @ 2:00 pm.

The MVHS Quiz Kids Club competes in the popular televised Quiz Kids competition (KRON TV Channel 4) against teams from other top Bay Area high schools. In their quest for fun, fame and fortune, team members are subjected to a challenging single-elimination competition under bright lights and a live(ly!) TV studio audience, valiantly fielding tough academic questions in a format combining collaboration, lightening, and EXTREME lightening rounds.
