The Mountain View High School athletic department recently welcomed a new trainer, Jeremiah “EJ” Amaku. His impressive experience training and doing other types of physical strengthening totals to six years: two years at graduate school, three years of working at high schools and colleges and one year here at MVHS.
EJ decided to come MVHS because he got a recommendation from one of the teachers here and heard all the great things coming from the community about MVHS’s talented sports programs.
“I wish we could win more,” EJ admitted regarding his first impressions of MVHS. “But my main priority is keeping the athletes healthy.”
During football games, EJ is both an enthusiastic spectator as well as a focused professional who is always ready to use his years of experience to help out. But his excitement is not limited to just football; EJ enjoys preparing for and being an essential part of all the sports teams at MVHS . One reason he decided to come train at MVHS was because he heard significant praise about our baseball and lacrosse teams.
“The coaches are really friendly everyone is really welcoming,” EJ said. “I think it’s just going to get better from here.”
