Ah, the much anticipated season of fall has finally arrived. If you look forward to this majestic season because of the beautiful changing of the leaves, chilly drop in temperature, or the reunion of friends and family during Thanksgiving and Halloween, you need to reevaluate your definition of fall. Do not fret, however, because I am here to teach you what really matters when it comes to autumn.
Don’t get me wrong, Starbucks is obviously the place to be no matter what time of year it is (who wouldn’t want to pay 5 dollars for a 12 ounce drink that’s mostly ice?), but during fall, they reveal their autumn and holiday drinks!!! Pumpkin spice lattes, peppermint hot chocolates, pumpkin spice frappuccinos, gingerbread lattes, and did I mention they have pumpkin spice lattes? What more could you ask for!
Another huge part of fall are the candles! I would recommend purchasing yours from Bath and Body Works, because they really do a spectacular job creating scents that differ from each other (pumpkin cupcake, sweet cinnamon pumpkin, pumpkin carvings). However, if finding the perfect autumn scent is proving to be too difficult for you, B&BW always has you covered, simply look for the “Leaves” or “Autumn” candles. Hopefully these names won’t be too confusing. Additionally, Bath and Body Works is extremely affordable! Only 20 dollars for a 14 ounce candle that burns for around 30 hours?! Sign me up!!!
Autumn is all about clothing choices, so if you don’t own at least one pair of yoga pants and leggings, you better get on that. They’re the perfect pants for this time of year because they keep you warm and comfy, and they’ll complement your pumpkin spice latte perfectly. Pair them with a juicy jacket, and you’ll have the perfect “I’m-not-trying-but-I-still-look-fab” outfit that’ll make all the other girls so jealous. But you have to make sure that your pants are at least 80 dollars, preferably from Lululemon. Tip: When wearing these, make sure you show off the Lulu symbol so that people know you spent 100 dollars on your pants. I mean if people don’t know, what’s the point of even wearing them?!?! You might as well just be shopping at Target…
This brings me to my next autumn-essential. Staying warm during fall is extremely important, as the temperatures drop to around 60 degrees, and the only way to keep your feet warm is by purchasing a pair of Ugg boots. They’re the perfect boots because they’re so warm and soft on the inside, while still being durable on the outside. This company’s secret is that the insides of the boots are made from sheepskin and the outsides are made from suede. This way, you can feel great knowing that animals died just so that you could have fashionable footwear. Don’t you feel important??
Overall, fall is a beautiful season for many different reasons as you have now just been shown. I apologize but I have to go… my pumpkin spice latte is getting cold!
